BBC proudly rolled out their MoTD ‘expert’ panel’s World Cup predictions, but Lawro’s are easily the pick of the lot. See if you can spot what’s a tad off about his predictions:
Who will win the World Cup?
I’m tipping Argentina. They’ve got the players, that goes without saying.
Team to watch
They’re playing themselves down and they’re in a really tough group, but I’m going to go for the Netherlands.
Surprise team
I think the Ivory Coast. We already know a few of their players from the Premiership. They’re all extremely fit and very athletic.
Not bad at all, except that his picks for eventual winners, team to watch, and surprise team of the tournament are all in the same group.
