Looks like Gareth Southgate’s first move as illegal manager was to replace himself by signing Chelsea giant Robert Huth, fending off interest from Wigan. The 6’3 German must have some kind of talent as he made the World Cup squad despite featuring infrequently for Chelsea, although Mourinho clearly rated him and even turned down a bid from Bayern Munich at one point. We like him because he looks like Ivan Drago and may quite possibly be able to kill someone with his free kicks.
So are Middlesbrough supporters excited about Hoooooof? Are Chelsea fans disappointed that the young lad wasn’t given more chances ahead of sometimes unpopular Ricardo Carvalho, or kept to replace Gallas?
