   It was a foul, Henry did ,make a meal of it and so what. The guys hardly ever done anything wrong. In the end the Spanish still had a chance to clear it and they didn’t. Fuck em.

   I’m a Chelsea fan and even I can’t see the big deal over this (though being an avid observer of Arsenal’s hypocrisy). Puyol was a nasty cunt to Henry in the Champions League Final, and I would have been a very happy man to see Henry get some revenge on him, it would have been so fitting to see Puyol’s own cheating in the final turned back on him.

   It’s a shame he had to clutch his face. It was a clear foul and a reasonable yellow but he didn’t need to do that. Being honest for eight years doesn’t make much difference, the incident at the World Cup is all that people will remember.

   He’s still one of the most honest players in the league, but I can’t say he doesn’t cheat at all now.

   I’m an Arsenal fan and it’s disgraceful. I lost a bit of respect for Henry seeing that. All governing bodies of football should be able to go back to video and hand out deserved punishment, after the fact. It would prevent this sort of thing in the long run.

   I agree that Henry was foolish to grab his face after that challenge. That kind of thing doesn’t belong in football, and Titi for one should have known better. Still, it was a clear foul and the free kick was rightfully awarded. Get over it.

   Its ridiculous for people to start having ago at henry because the fault lays firmly with the refs. Henry has always been an honest player & its cost him many times over (there are a lot of other honest players also that have been cheated by refs). Henry’s attitude towards cheating has probably changed considerable after the champions league final & he realises there is no benefit in being honest any longer. When a player tries to stay on his feet in the penalty area after a clumsy challenge the ref will give nothing whereas a player that falls over a perfectly legitimate challenge will get a penalty so what is the point in being honest??

    Yaaaaawn!! Get off those high horses, please. Did Puyol bundle him to the ground or not? I dont remember Henry claiming he was a saint at any time in the past, so like any pro does in these extremely cynical times, he tries to milk it for all its worth!
    Dont blame Henry, blame the near-complete collapse of honour and integrity in football (and indeed life at large)as we know it today.

    Stop saying henry cheated. HE WAS FOULED but made the most of it. HE DIDNT CHEAT because Puyol did just block his path on purpose. CHEATING is when you are not even touched and try to con the ref, like what Robben has been doing. Henry wanted the ref to know he was fouled-WHICH HE WAS. Sad, but NOT CHEATING!!

    He was fouled. He went to the floor. Whatever happened afterwards is immaterial. Puyol is a shit, Henry is a fair player, yet even the “faires” players engage in a bit of unsavoury business now and again (Rooney’s old trafford dive in 04/05 comes to mind)…

    I think it was totally wrong.Henry shouldn’t have dived like that.But Spain deserved it.Their fans have no respect for France’s national anthem,and some of them are racist idiots,who need to be punished.Aragones racially abused Henry,and he’s paid for it.But Henry should have done better.It wasn’t really controversial,as the yellow card and the free-kick were obviously to be given.I certainly don’t expect this from Henry,as he is probably the most decent soccer player I’ve ever seen.He’s got all the skill,and he’s a gentleman.Sad to see him doing this,but im sure he’ll come back with a vengeance,and will kill off all those who doubt his integrity.COME ON THIERRY,I WANT TO SEE YOU KICK SOME BRAZILLIAN ASS.
