It seems that the London club have taken Squiddy’s sage advice, taking a stand against the oppression that is Chelsea by seemingly pricing Ashley Cole out of a move to Jose Mourinho’s side.
Although Cole has been fairly quiet throughout the whole affair, Wenger and Henry have come out and laid the groundwork for the left back to return to the squad without much of a fuss from the club.
But supporters are rarely so kind, especially on here.
Cole has already voiced some discontent with the club via serialized portions of his crap book where he claims he’s been let down by Arsenal and is only keeping silent on his treatment due to some ‘secret deal’.
With Clichy and Flamini waiting in the wings, maybe biting the proverbial hand off at a lower price of around 15-16M might be preferable to keeping another grumpy bloke at the training ground?
