The most stressful and painful part of the Premiership season is over and we can now take a fond look back at what was arguably the busiest and most spectacular transfer window yet. Between those clubs more desperate than ever to find help in toppling Chelsea (Arsenal, Manchested United, Liverpool), scampering to build to break into a Big Four in transition (West Ham, Tottenham, Newcastle), trying to cement their place in the ever-changing Top Six (Portsmouth, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Bolton, Everton), and just trying to stay alive (Manchester City, Wigan, Watford, Reading, Sheffield United, Fulham, Charlton), there were a lot of reasons for a whole lot of player movement.
But with the exception of one club, everyone is going to have positives and negatives from their club’s wheelings and dealings. Wrong players, bad players, not enough players, too many players, smelly players.
