The only thing surprising about the whole ‘bung’ scandal is that anyone would be surprised at all. And would Manchester United supporters really care if they found out Alex Ferguson pocketed 100K to sign Wayne Rooney? Or that dodgy Arsene Wenger got himself a new car by agreeing to bring Thierry Henry to Arsenal?
