Rafa Benitez’ agent Manuel Garcia Quilon has been “quoted” in The Sun as claiming the Liverpool boss could be tempted to give two fingers to the Premiership should one of the big jobs in Italy become available, his dodgy agent said,
“Benitez is a coach ideally suited to to Italy and the country’s style of football and he is one of the best three coaches in the world.
“If he gets an interesting offer from a club with a serious project, he will certainly consider it.
“Yes, in this case he could even leave Liverpool.”
If The Sun is to be believed…
Sorry…if The Sun is to be believed then Rafa needs to find himself a new agent. One who will not go around trying to drum up interest in a client who is clearly happy at Anfield. Because an upstanding, dignified manager such as Benitez would not let his agent do his talking for him to avoid any serious backlash from supporters for shopping himself around while the Rafalution is still far from complete.
