Arsenal’s Gilberto Silva reckons that the clash between 3rd and 4th at Anfield will be decisive in deciding the final Premiership standings for both clubs,
“The next game now is the most important. At Liverpool the outcome will be decisive over who finishes third,” said Gilberto.
“We know that at Liverpool it is always hard, and we need to keep our shape as a side and we cannot afford to lose our concentration like we have done in a few important games recently.”
This might be true if Manchester United were playing Chelsea, as both clubs are almost matching each other win-for-win at the moment. But given that Liverpool just drew with Aston Villa, and Arsenal just lost to Everton, the form book suggests that there’s a little more football left this season for both sides beyond their next match.
