They may have been relegated from the Premiership, but Watford supporters can thank their lucky stars they dodged a more deadly bullet.
The club announced their largest ever shirt sponsorship deal with appliance manufacturer Beko, the press release read:
A subsidiary of the Turkish company Arcelik, Beko is part of the Koc group, one of the top 500 largest companies in the world. Arcelik is the third largest manufacturer of major domestic appliances in Europe, with over 50 years experience.
If there was ever a chance of them ending up with Arcelik or Koc on their shirt, we imagine it might be better for their dignity if they weren’t on the telly every weekend.
