Manchester United Sign “Next Ronaldo”
May 30, 2007
Well that was easy.
First, the next Ronaldinho and now the next Ronaldo (C, not Fat). Tottenham supporters may have been going to bed with dreams of pinching Sporting Lisbon’s Nani away from Manchester United to join Gareth Bale on the left wing, but the more logical destination has won out.
Two incredibly talented young attacking players plundered from the Portuguese league in the same day and they, along with Owen Hargreaves, must surely take the summer’s outlay well over 30 million. Liverpool and Chelsea better get spending. If all the signings work out the way the club hopes, Manchester United may have just answered the question that gave their Premiership rivals some hope for the next few seasons,
“Yeah, but who will replace Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes?”

Got something to say?

I’m sorry to say that next season we will have three of the biggest crybabies in the Premier League. We already have Ronaldo, next up is Anderson and Nani, I know Tottenham and Chelsea-fans, I’m sorry, but that’s how it will be!
good news! Berbatov is ’save’ now from the red nose. No more money left in the kitty.
TBH, i am happy that man utd got the players instead of chelski striking again.
Hopefully this means spurs will turn their attention to robben instead now. i didnt want nani at spurs if their intention was to play him on the left wing, the lad is right footed, and is better suited in centre or right wing.
Robben is staying at chelsea for the next 5 years at least…new contract
People, do not think that Nani will be at Old Trafford next season even though we have signed him. On the basis of the deal, it has been mostly likely confirmed that Nani will be loaned back to Sporting next season. Anderson will play left-wing meaning he is the replacement for Giggs. Now people might think that this is risky spending a total of £25 million on two of the most hottest properties in the world. But if you think in reality, we have just boosted our sales partnerships with Brazil and again Portugal. Anderson is our fourth brazilian to sign for united (kleberson, fabio, rafeal the first 3). Now you must wonder when Nani comes back, where will he play?? Hes the next Henry, he will be played upfront with Rooney.
the videos make nani and anderson look like superheroes, ill admit there good but its a fact that they dive and are crybabys as said before. the premiership could be to physical for them. i would prefer to be in chelski’s position(even though i hate them sooooooooo much, liverpool till i die) they could be about to sign queresma from porto hes a proven winger who can play on both sides and is on the portuguese national team which is more than can be said for nani and anderson. hes also a beast. nani and anderson will be snapped in 2 by sissoko
LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nani is good, but nowhere near as good as CR. Bit more of a jermaine pennant at the moment, but he may turn out better IF he progresses. As for Anderson - the enxt henry, you are kidding. Ive seen him three times this year and he lloked distinctly average, but then again wasnt kleberson going to be the next roy keane, and djemba djemba. LMFAO.
Lets see how it pans out after two or three season, personally I dont think either will work out that well…certainly not as well as CR has.
Lets not forget…they are NOT signed…its an agreement in principle….the same agreement in principle Liverpool had with Vidic and Ronaldo before Manure paid over the top for them (around 4x what LFC offered)

Twat. We’ve just signed two of the most promising talents in the World and you’re concerned about them being crybabies. You’re not a United fan, you need to get laid.

If you didn’t understand, I was just being ironic (if you’re familiar with the word), making fun of the situatuion. Maybe I should think like you, ohhh… tomorrow we’ll claim it all, everything is ours… are you joking me??? Putting pressure on the lads is not what they need, and when you figure that out, you can also make fun of yourself and relax, it’s the silly season, and for all you know the deal is not done, so just relax, the lads DO NOT need anymore pressure. Being ironic relaxes the squad and the fans, take it easy, as long as the players keep their concentration right and the fans push them to play better (not like when playing AC Milan at home, but like when playing Blackburn at home) we might make another year we will love to remember!
CR was already exceptionally when he debut for Man U but looking at this video, Nani is not really better than CR or even equal to him. He’s something like Aaron Lennon and mind you if AL plays for Man U with great players around him, he would be superb.
I’m no fan of Spurs nor Man U, but Nani could be the next CR but CR is one in a decade but Man U had already got two, in CR and Rooney.
I’d say Man U will be there towards the end of next season. So will Chelsea be if they get a CB.

hmm, that was nearly incomprehensible kong. you said nani could be the next CR, but then you said that CR is one in a decade…hmmm.
I will be very happy if these signings go through…and get huntalaar too for all i care. as long as berbi is staying at the lane…cause he is a once in a decade without a replacement.
COYS!

calling CR a crybaby is not the definition of ironic you muppet. you claim to have a sense of humour but i fail to see any evidence of it here…

I give a FU** if you think I’m a muppet or not, it’s not you I hail as the best team in the world is it?? It’s not you I’m cheering on to win the Premier League, is it??? Say something and mean the opposite that’s irony you MUPPET, and every Utd fan who can read could figure out what I meant in my first comment. Just don’t expect Utd to pull it all home next year, you WILL be dissappointed! Relax and support your team when they really need it, if I make fun of a situation who cares???
Looks like Championship Manager has taken over the buying policy at Man Utd. I feel sorry for them.
intersting players. potential. good for them. hargreaves is still the best buy tho, top player.
watch the devils fail next year - and go bankrupt within the next five - ha ha suckers

As you might understand Utd have a big stadium and it has been filled the latest three years, even though Utd didn’t win a major trophy, Chelsea have problems filling up the stadium when it’s Champions LEague, now think twice, who’s got the big problem if they don’t succeed? Shitsy or Glory Glory Man Utd, with the loyal fans?

You people need to grow up and stop ridiculing for no reason, and learn to understand irony while you’re at it.
Sab, ignore these fools, they’re obviously bitter individuals who haven’t reached maturity, and need to “get laid” themselves.
watch the good devils go to the top of the table
