Transfer Rumours: Newcastle, Manchester United, Thierry Henry All Linked To Barcelona

New boy Swisha delivers some quick updates on the recent Premiership transfer rumours.

After much speculation for the past couple of years, the Arsenal living legend Thierry Henry may have closed a deal with Barcelona. This time last year there was heavy talks about Henry transferring to Barcelona after the Champions League loss but on the website of a French sports magazine, it was written Henry had agreed to a three-year deal. His agent denies having any talks and may seek legal action. Arsenal fans should be on their knees praying to whomever they believe in hoping that the Henry news is false. They may think that no player is bigger than the club, but it’ll be a while until they see a forward of his quality for a while.

Manchester United leftback Gabriele Heinze has expressed deep interest in going to Barcelona after this dismal and lackluster season he had. It is reported that he will not make his decision until after the Copa America ends but his decision may already be made for him if he doesn’t play up to par in the summer tournament. I think he might want to take his show on the road anyway considering how Patrice Evra played better and fit into the team better than him this year with his attacking support. Barcelona actually need help on the defensive end of the pitch, which is would suit Heinze more.

Also, Barcelona midfielder Ludovic Giuly is on Newcastle’s wishlist. Giuly is ready to leave Barcelona after only playing 8 games this season and feeling extremely under-appreciated. A player with his talent and pace, can you really blame him? I honestly don’t know how much luck he will have if he transfers to Newcastle because Kieron Dyer pretty much has his position solidified when fit, which he never is, so that actually explains a lot. Supposedly El-Hadji Diouf is a backup, which would confirm Geordie fears that Sam is going to recreate Bolton at St. James’s.

With all the big transfer news of these big stars from the Premiership reportedly leaving, there will be a few anxious TV execs hoping the league maintains its luster considering the massive broadcasting deal that’s just been agreed. It would be a shame to bring in more viewers and the big stars leave.
