Sanli Tuncay Tells Middlesbrough What They Want To Hear

Newcastle supporters are rife with optimism these days, but across the way local rivals Middlesbrough were in a bit of a funk. After losing striker Mark Viduka to the Geordies and generally preparing to settle in for another unpredictable season as Gareth Southgate continues to learn the ropes of this Premiership manager lark, along came the fairly interesting signing of Turk Sanli Tuncay.

A longtime CM/FM legend, he’s a bit more trendy than, say, Jeremie Aliadiere and now he’s also doing his bit to drum up some excitement at the Riverside,

“The English league is a great league and the best football is played here. I’m very happy to be here now.

“Of course I like to score goals, but I have always been a team player, so my style depends on the tactics of the coach.

“I will try to do my best. I want to make a massive impact in the Premier League ahead of the new season.”

“In the beginning of my career my aim was the Premier League and Middlesbrough are one of the influential teams in this league.”
