Word flying about the street is that Thierry Henry has finally put aside weeks of mucking about and will agree to join Barcelona this Friday. Tottenham supporters may see it as yet another reason to think that the tide in North London is turning, while Arsenal and the La Liga runners up are just sorting out the pesky notion of a transfer fee, thought to be around 16 million.
Most Arsenal fans we know will actually be quite pleased to finally see Henry go, or at least pretend to be, claiming bad attitude and a lack of devotion to the club. The Premiership will lose one of its finest ever performers, and certainly the weekly highlights will be much less interesting without the odd bit of inspiration from the Frenchman.
And for those keeping track at home, Barcelona will be paying less than Charlton want for Darren Bent.
