It has now been written into the journalistic code of ethics that any article written about Leeds must start with a reference to how no one would have believed this when they were in the semi-finals of Champions League. This is is even more tempting as they progress through the Johnsons Paints trophy, with a 1-0 win over Darlington last night. The Yorkshire Post were certainly impressed, musing:
“Such is the belief running through Elland Road at the moment that anything really does seem possible.”
Anything, Leeds fans, even the hallowed Johnsons Paint trophy. And for those that haven’t been following to closely, this is how it stands (from the same paper):

This is a great time to be a Leeds fan apparently and a trip to Wembley for any reason (expect maybe the surely inerminable England v Estonia match) would top it off nicely.
