Leeds have to hire two new coachs to replace Spurs-bound Poyet

Time was when Dave Basset could manage a whole team single-handed (or at least with Alan Cork or someone as back-up), now he can’t even assist Dennis Wise on his own. You see, he has been joined at Leeds by a new first team coach, Jim Gannon. Gannon was once of Sheffield United and if a link up between him and Basset hint at the ball going up and under more times than Callum Best’s co… (snip – ed).

Little Dennis seemed pleased though:

“John knows the game and is a good coach. He is someone I know well and trust well.”

As for Gus Poyet, he must have been some coach. Spurs have got themselves one man who can do the work of two, and no we don’t mean coach and translator.
