Is Tottenham Midfielder Ghaly An Arsenal Double Agent?

Tottenham’s Egyptian agent provocateur, Hossam Ghaly has come out again to reiterate that he has no intention of ever playing for the club again, even if they do have a nice new manager that doesn’t look in the least like a scary ogre (unlike the previous incumbent). The Egyptian black-sheep of the Tottenham family hasn’t featured for Spurs since he tossed his shirt to the ground after being subbed by Martin Jol. The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham came very close to offloading the Egyptian trouble-maker to Birmingham in the summer, and for the princely sum of £3million. Ghaly put the kibosh on that move, however, by having a bust up with Bruce before he had even signed for Brum!

Ghaly said of Tottenham’s new boss:

“The arrival of Ramos won’t change the situation. It wasn’t only Jol, I also had a lot of troubles with the board and the fans. All I am focused on is getting prepared to play with Egypt in the Arab Games.”

Arsenal are yet to respond to allegations that the Egyptian is a double agent working for them…
