Real Madrid’s Argentinian defender Gabriel Heinze has claimed that he’s as happy as a butcher’s dog with life at Real but lashed out at his former club Manchester United, claiming that
“Manchester [United] never believed a big-name club would ever want me.”
Heinze also claimed that whilst he liked the football in England, playing in Spain is much more of a classy experience, and he even had a dig at notoriously drab Mancunian weather. He said:
“I love English football because it allowed me to play at my best, I learned how to be a football professional. That said, in Spain they play a lot more football. Football there is very fast, while here there is a lot more talent. I really like Madrid a lot. Having the sun shine every day is priceless.”
So Heinze is flying high, playing for a moneybags club with the gorgeous sun on his back. Bet he’s happy that he didn’t sign for Liverpool!
