Bolton midfielder Stelios is apparently ready to do a runner in January if he doesn’t get some playing time soon. The Telegraph reports that Stelios might actually play tonight in the Uefa cup game against Aris Thessalonika, but that it might just increase his bloodlust for some bona fide playing time. Stelios said:
“Every player wants to play. And if I am not playing I will have to see what I can do for my future.I am not starting the games I would like to start and that troubles me because I am used to playing week in, week out.”
But with the 33 year-old midfielder talking about his future, we wonder if he’s a bit deluded; Stelios mate – you aren’t a spring chicken any more.
