A plague of injuries is not affecting Celtic transfer loyalty

John Kennedy and Lee Naylor were carried off during Wednesday’s Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk, and manager Gordon Strachan is refusing to hint at any position changes as we approach the much needed transfer period. With Mark Wilson, Jean-Joel Perrier-Doumbe and Darren O’Dea, who are all defenders, were forced to miss this clash, one would have to question the real motives of the manager.

Strachan said:
“We’ve still got the same targets, they will not change, positions will not change,” he said. “We knew this could have happened. There are no recognised full-backs now but we just need to get on with it.”

Is the reign of the Hoops coming to an end? Can the others catch up and end O’Neil/Strachan era?
