The Times is reporting that Jermaine Defoe could be set for an extended stint in the team after Tottenham’s appeail against Robbie Keane’s sending off belly flopped.
The Times claims thouth that :
“The loss of Keane for three matches may not prove too much of a hindrance, even though the Ireland forward is in fine form this season with 12 goals in all competitions. Juande Ramos, the head coach, is well stocked with forwards and is likely to give Jermain Defoe a Barclays Premier League starting place that so often eluded him under Martin Jol, Ramos’s predecessor.”
So will Jermain repay Juande Ramos’ faith in him, and can he carve out a starting slot all for himself in the 3 games before Robbie’s return?
