Arsenal’s trouble making loon goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is apparently being lined up for a loan move to Man City. The Evening Standard reckons that Sven is after someone with experience to stick in goal – and lunacy aside – Jens apparently fits the bill.
Arsene Wenger confessed:
“I can’t guarantee he will be here for the second half of the season but I can’t make that guarantee about anybody.
“For all of us the only target is to do well for the club – and we can only do that if we perform well.
“His long-term future depends on, when you are 38, what you call a long-term future. We haven’t spoken about that.
“Jens has a one-year contract and that is not a long contract.”
So is the old, and slightly mad, Jens really the type of player that Sven should be flirtatiously sidling up to?
