So we’ve just had the Champions League draw earlier today – with some amazingly tasty looking games for our British sides. First off Celtic will play Barcelona, and what a whopper of a game that’ll be. Manchester United get a decent draw, playing Lyon, but Liverpool have Italian giants Inter Milan which will definitely be tough. Arsenal paid the price for not topping their group and play supreme Champions of the World AC Milan, whilst Chelsea shouldn’t have to worry too much about Olympiakos should they?
Here’s the full draw:
Celtic v Barcelona
Lyon v Manchester United
Schalke v Porto
Liverpool v Inter Milan
Roma v Real Madrid
Arsenal v AC Milan
Olympiakos v Chelsea
Fenerbahce v Sevilla
(Ties to be played on 19/20 February and 4/5 March)
So who are your favourites to drift through to the next round and who do you think will flounder?
