Upsets left right and centre in today’s FA Cup action. But what was the biggest shock?Coventry somehow managed to obliterate Blackburn 4-1, whilst League One Huddersfield beat Birmingham 2-1. Special mention should also go to Sheffield United who booted out Bolton with a 1-0 win lowly and injury ravaged Oldham, who beat Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park.

Good or bad result for Everton?
Everton should not have lost to Oldham but hey this is the FA cup. David Moyes put a side out that should have been capable of beating Oldham, maybe a few was looking at the game onTuesday and need to have a long hard look at their performance today.
The one good thing is that it is less of a toll on the players wit respect to the number of games played and will be a welcome relief for their fitness. This could make Everton stronger in the other cups. Final of Carling cup? Uefa or champions league qualification and ?Uefa cup! Most supporters would have taken that at the start of the season.
It also shows that whilst Everton have a good side still need more depth in Quality terms.

I really don’t believe that you can say that there were any real shocks. Our definition of what a ’shock’ is has so diminished. Crucially though, MU, Arse, Liverpool and Chelsea are still in it.
While this happens year in and year out, you can kiss goodbye to the real cup magic.
