Tottenham Hotspur appear to suffer from some internal problems. Manager Juande Ramos is quite open about the players whom he wants and whom he doesn’t and now the players too appear to come out of their shells and voice their own emotions and feeling too.
ESPN Soccernet has reported that Spurs defender Pascal Chimbonda is quite eager to wriggle himself out of White Hart Lane. Chimbonda has already been told by Ramos that he is a liability at the club and that he wouldn’t be sad at all to see the former Wigan Athletic defender head towards Spurs exit door.
Chimbonda’s agent, Willie McKay, admits that the player is looking for a new club this January. He told PA Sport:
Would Pascal welcome a move to Aston Villa? Of course he would. He is looking to leave Tottenham and Villa are a big club with great potential.
Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill has expressed a considerable desire to sign the right back and is also avid to snap up another of Spurs reject striker Jermaine Defoe. The moves do appear likely at the moment.
