Today’s Chelsea-Tottenham game promises to be a mano-a-mano bust up between two dwarf wingers with England aspirations. Chelsea have Shaun Wright-Phillips who at 5ft 5½in is ½ an inch taller than Spurs’ Aaron Lennon, but the Tottenham man claims he is harder, stronger, and faster under Juande Ramos’ new keep-fit regime.
“We’re definitely starting to turn things around. You can see in our recent performances that we’re getting back the confidence and belief which was missing a couple of months ago. We’re still in a false position but even now we’re looking to nick a late European finish this season.
“When you look at the players we have at Tottenham, we definitely should be challenging for Champions League qualification. We’ve proved that in the last two seasons when we finished fifth both times.
“So it’s only fair that everyone is expecting big things of us in the second half of the season.”
So we have two questions here; firstly – can the new uber-fit Spurs make it to a European spot? And secondly, should Juande Ramos release a keep-fit dvd?
