Ex-Tottenham boss Martin Jol is desperate to get back into management, so much so that he is going to
“demand that Tottenham pay his multi-million-pound compensation package in full so he can get on with the rest of his life and career.”
According to the Daily Mail, Jol’s former employers at Spurs are paying him in monthly installments, and because of that Jol’s plans to move into a new job have hit a roadblock. Mail journo Bob Cass writes:
“Negotiations with another club could influence his payments from Spurs. Jol argues that the club are blocking his chances of taking a new job by refusing to pay him one cheque.
“He will now have to wait until his exit contract is completed at the end of the season.”
Poor Jol has had a ropey few months, having to endure all the “stab in the front” malarkey and now the poor Ogre is being kept away from all the clubs simply dying to hire him thanks to the Spurs board’s gittishness.
