Kevin Keegan is set to revamp his Newcastle United side and is in mood to do it fast. Goal.com reports that the newly appointed manager of the struggling Premiership side is all too eager to recruit the services of the FC Barcelona ace Deco as soon as possible.
The Portuguese international midfield is world class but could still be lured to move away from the Camp Nou cathedral since the 30-year old is reported to be unhappy at the state of things in Barcelona. The Magpies are also said to be interested in signing Barcelona’s Brazilian defensive midfield Edmilson to shore up the defensive shield in midfield.
Deco has already hinted that he would like to move out of the Catalan capital but it is unlikely that Newcastle would be able to pull off the coup this month. It is more likely that Barcelona consider their options in the summer when it is anticipated that a few changes maybe rung in Barca.
