Cristiano Roanldo might be committed to Manchester United at the moment but his mom wants him to move to a higher pedestal and play for the biggest and most successful club in the world, namely Real Madrid. Goal.com quotes an AS reports which blares out the Portuguese winger’s mother’s wish for her son to play for the los Merengues one day.
Dolores Aveiro told the Madrid-based Sports daily:
They are my favourite team, the best in the world. If one day he were to leave England then I would really like to see him go to Madrid. I would not like to die without seeing my son playing there, then I could go knowing that my dream was fulfilled.
So much so that she even ventured onto say that in a couple of years, she would like Ronaldo to play in Madrid and also confirmed that she herself would move to the Spanish capital then. Well, Ronaldo’s admiration and ambition to play for Real have never been eclipsed by the player himself and now his mother has come out of the blocks (for the second time, isn’t it?). Real are already planning to launch a record breaking bid in the summer and who knows, Mrs. Aveiro may not have to wait for two years to move to Madrid.
