This season Inter Milan are not running away with the scudetto as they did last time around and AS Roma’s Captain Fantastic knows that. Goal.com quotes Francesco Totti as confidently proclaiming that the Romans club would win the Italian Serie A this season with Inter Milan to finish second.

Roma will win the Scudetto, while Inter will only finish second. I think that for the Scudetto it’s a two-horse race between Roma and Inter, with all respect to other teams.
If you think that Totti is being just blaringly complacent and sort of naïve, then you think again. Roma are second in the league table, just 4 points behind league leaders Inter Milan and 5 ahead of third placed Juventus. While Inter have played more pragmatic football with clinical professionalism, Roma have exhibited some romantic football with Totti again pulling the strings. Although Inter still remain the favorites to win the scudetto again this season, Roma and Totti cannot be ruled out at all.
