Once again Juventus have come against a dead wall. Goal.com reports that Sampdoria sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has said a firm NO to the Turin club on any deal pertaining to their defender Stefano Lucchini. Juve are searching for a defender after several of their first choice backliners are sidelined due to injury concerns.

Marotta told Sky Sports Italia:

We are pleased to here that a big club like Juventus is interested but at the moment we need the player.

Juve are desperate for a defender to stern their defence and would still carry on searching Italy for one.
