Mohamed Sissoko is finally a Juventus player. Sport Box reports that the 22-year old Mali international has ultimately made his move from Liverpool to Turin.
The deal is reported to be worth £8.2million and the move means that Sissoko will once again join hands with Claudio Ranieri, the man who coached him at Valencia.
The money is good for Liverpool – just under half the amount required by the Reds to sign Javier Mascherano on a permanent deal at the end of the season, when the Argentinian’s loan deal expires. Mascherano, too, has been linked with a move to Juventus in the summer but Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez will be doing all he can to convince the club’s American co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks to keep the Argie at Anfield.
