Bolton Wanderers are set to lose Christian Wilhelmsson inside the last two days of the January transfer period. Sky Sports reports that the Swedish international currently on loan from French club Nantes is not happy at the Premiership strugglers and is ready to move to Spain to play for Deportivo la Coruna.
The player’s agent Fabio Alho says:
If Deportivo are serious and want to sign Christian, that then is something we can make happen. There will of course be lots of negotiations to go through and that will prove whether Deportivo are serious about getting Christian. Hopefully the current speculation will put some pressure on Gary Megson to play him. But he is calm and professional and he knows that he has got a contract whatever happens. Either at Bolton or with Nantes.
But Bolton manager Gary Megson is not all eager to play the Swedish international and under the current circumstances the player will leave the Reebok. But will it be good for Megson to lose another player as the fight for Premiership survival intensifies?
