Fergie wants Man United to stay unbeaten, but is that a realistic goal?

Manchester United have already lost three matches in the English Premier League so far this season and manager Sir Alex Ferguson is not eager to lose another. Fergie knows that the key to winning the Premier League this season is going on an unbeaten run and not dropping points and the much experienced manager declares that he wants his team to go unbeaten for the rest of the season to retain the Premiership trophy.

Sky Sports quotes Sir Alex as saying:

I have to look at where the dangers are going to come from and I have to say to myself ‘Will they go through the season undefeated?’ Chelsea have done that in the past and so have Arsenal. So I’m taking nothing for granted. We may have to. It’s getting really tight now. Chelsea have five players back from the Africa Cup of Nations after the 10th. Arsenal have the two Ivory Coast lads back as well, although they are looking favourites for the tournament. I’m hoping for an Ivory Coast and Ghana final. Avram Grant and Arsene Wenger know which final I’m hoping for. I’m even hoping there’s going to be a replay.

Man United are level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table and are in pole position due to goal difference. But while United have lost thrice in the league, the Gunners have lost just once. The other horse in the title race this season Chelsea have also lost thrice and are 4 points behind the league leaders.
