Tottenham Hotspur are aspiring to achieve great things under Juande Ramos but for some more time at least, they have to try to do that without key central defender and club captain Ledley King. The England defender is still recuperating from a knee surgery that he underwent in the summer and couldn’t feature for Spurs this season until Boxing Day.
Sky Sports quotes manager Ramos as saying that although he would love to rush back King into the first team, he has to play cautiously and bring the highly-rated defender slowly into football. Ramos says:
”I really want him to play every week. But this is something we can’t control and we have to wait and see how his injury is. Right now he can’t play any more than he does.”
But how long will it be before King is able to play regularly?
