Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has reiterated his commitment to the club. ESPN Soccernet reports that he has told France Football magazine that he is very much enjoying at Stamford Bridge and is in no mood to step down his tempo. The 29-year old Ivory Coast international says:
”I said what I had to say and I think that was understood. The important thing is that my performances on the field have remained the same, or maybe even got better. What counts is giving 100% in a Chelsea shirt. Today, working in a good atmosphere with a common goal is fantastic. Winning the Champions League and Premier League – these are the types of challenges that I love and I am happy.”
Drogba has already hinted at his desire to leave the club before long. Most speculation suggests he is being targeted by AC Milan and FC Barcelona and Drogba has so far not stepped on either boat. He is actually keeping his options open.
