Nicolas Anelka has only been at Chelsea for a month but is starting to feel right at home already. The Frenchman joined the Stamford Bridge club from Bolton for £15 million in January although Football365 report that he’s now regarded as part of the Blues family.
“Everybody speaks to me as if I’ve already been here a long time,” Anelka said.
“It is strange as it is like I am in another world. I was fighting against relegation at Bolton and now I am fighting to win things.”
Chelsea boss Avram Grant added: “I believe in him. We bought him because we believe in him. He wants to prove himself after being at so many clubs and that is a good combination.”
Is this a match made in heaven or will the striker be on his way within another year? Rumours are so far unfounded that he wants to complete his ‘Big Four’ set by sealing a transfer to Manchester United.
