Chelsea boss Avram Grant reckons that even though Frank Lampard is fit again he won’t just be able to waddle back into the first team for the Chelsea-Liverpool game, as the squad has been doing pretty well without him. In addition to Lampard’s return from his thigh injury, Jon Mikel Jon Mikel Obi is back, and will be joined by returning stars Drogba and Essien next week.
Chelsea Gaffer Avram Grant said:

“We proved that we can do without them all. In the last three months everyone gave their share and the players who came in showed they could do it. It will be a good competition between everyone. We miss all the players, Frank, JT, Drogba, Kalou.

“But again, we must say that we’ve done well without them too. We will find a place for everyone. Frank trained the last two days and is feeling much better. We will decide today if he will play.

Despite these injuries, Chelsea remain horse #3 in the three horse race, will they be able to push Man Utd and Arsenal even harder now?
