Jeremie Aliadiere is making a name for himself these days with modest Middlesbrough after leaving Arsenal. He scored the winner against Fulham at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday in the English Premier League and also exhibited some lovely football. That has driven Boro manager Gareth Southgate to singing his praises.
Jeremie has been outstanding for us all season and especially in the last two months or so. He has played unselfishly and now he is making the most of his chances and his confidence is growing. It is a bit like having some of our young 19 or 20-year-olds who are in the same position as Jeremie in that they have not had that full season of football. He is growing in strength all the time.
Aliadiere indeed deserves the accolade that his manager is bestowing on him. At Arsenal, he was rarely given any chance even from the substitute’s bench to display his quality but at Middlesbrough, the French striker is blosooming.
