These days no one speaks much about Andy Cole. After all the former Manchester United and England international striker is now in the twilight of his career. In fact, the former Premiership and UEFA Champions League winner himself is contemplating retirement from football.
Sky Sports quotes Cole as saying:
I really want to try and finish on a high. When I get to the end of the season I’ll make my mind up whether I want to play on.
Cole is currently on loan at Burnley for until the end of the season from Sunderland and it is unlikely that the Black Cats will take him in again. So is the career one of the most exciting players in Europe over for good? Or should Cole still try for something more?
