Last season Blackburn Rovers let in a sixer against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the English Premier League and although the possibility of that humiliating repeating itself is quite slim, it is not exactly out of the equation. But Blackburn Rovers custodian Brad Freidel thinks otherwise.
The American international goalkeeper says:
Every team in the world is beatable. Yes they(Arsenal) do have intricate passing and they have a lot of pace, and this year they have something a little but different with Adebayor’s aerial ability in the box. Yes, it is going to be difficult but I think we’ll try to take positives about how we played against them at Ewood. I know going away from home is always a bit more difficult, but I thought that we played very well and on another day we should have come out winners.
Let’s see how Blackburn play against the Gunners at the Emirates on Monday. My money is on Arsenal though. After all, Arsene Wenger knows that a victory would stretch the gap between them and second placed Manchester United to a healthy 5 point.
