Slavia Prague players wetting themselves over uber-fit Spurs squadron…
February 14, 2008
Hit on the heels of the revelation that Spurs boss Juande Ramos wants his players to lose even more weight comes the news that Tottenham’s UEFA cup opponents Slavia Prague are running scared of Tottenham. The Daily Mail reports that Slavia Prague boss Karel Jarolim is worried that his side won’t be as match sharp as the Tottenham team:
“We are starting our season after two months, Tottenham will be in better rhythm without a break but we are looking forward to the game.
“The base of a good result is not conceding goals - if we score one it will be fantastic.”
So will it be a case of the super-fit ultra-svelte Spurs stars running rings around the Czech team?

Got something to say?

This is no more than the usual kind of stuff to put visiting teams off their guard - and YOU repeat it ……………. DOH!!!!
Come on Tommy - they havent played for two months - i think the coach is only stating the bleeding obvious.
It is still up to Ramos to remind everyone that it is still an important match and not let their guard down. Not sure how many Spurs player will take Jarolim’s comments seriously.
