Lampard eyeing quadruple

Chelsea beat Huddersfield in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday thanks to a brace from England international Frank Lampard. The Chelse star who is just back from a six-week injury layoff was in an obvious bullish mood after the victory and exuded confidence that the London Blues can go all the way to clinching the quadruple.

Lampard had this to say about the match:

It was probably sloppy from us at the end of the first half, maybe got a little bit overconfident. It gave us a little reminder of what we have to do, and I think we came out and did the job very effectively in the second half.

About the quadruple, Lampard said:

It’s great, we were in a similar position last year. We’re obviously a little bit off the pace in the league which is a little bit frustrating.
But we’re still there, and we’re still in all the cups, it’s very important now we put together a very consistent run of results in all competitions.
It’s very difficult to win them all, and we won’t go saying we can win them all.
But while we’re still in there we’ll keep working as hard we can.

Chelsea have really coped well with the departure of Jose Mourinho and maybe they can go all the way this season.
