South Korean trying to impress Wigan

Posted by

South Korean international Kim Jung-woo is without a club at the moment after his contract with J-League club Nagoya Grampus Eight expired in December. The player is now a free agent and is currently in trial at Premiership strugglers Wigan Athletic.

So is a move to the Lactics on the cards? According to the player’s agent, it is. Kim Min-jae says:

Both (Kim Jung-woo) and Wigan believed the trial went well. There are some minor differences that need ironing out before the transfer can be concluded. We are still talking to Wigan at the moment.

Actually, Jung-woo’s international team mate Cho Jae-jin failed to garner a deal since he failed to impress the Wigan scouts. Can Kim Jung-woo manage to convince Wigan that he is good enough to play for them?
