Could Lassana Diarra return to his club Chelsea one day in the future? According to the 22-year old Portsmouth youngster, yes he could but not now.
Diarra says:
We have good players here (at Portsmouth), and though the objectives are different from Arsenal and Chelsea, we will try to go into Europe and do something good. It’s not a problem for me. Maybe one day I will go back to a team like Chelsea, but I don’t want to think about that.
Diarra spent two year at Stamford Bridge but failed to eke out a starting place for himself. Similar scenario at Arsenal forced him to join modest Portsmouth in the south coast but the right-sided midfielder who can also play as right-back has been terrific for Pompey and is gunning for a UEFA Cup spot for Portsmouth.
