Tottenham Hotspur full-back Pascal Chimbonda has apologized to his team mates for his bad behaviour during Sunday’s Carling Cup victory over Chelsea. The French international was substituted on the hour-mark at Wembley and the player was so furious at manager Juande Ramos’s decision that he stormed straight to the dressing room through the tunnel.

Chimbonda says:

I was annoyed at being taken off in such an important match. But the manager has explained his reasons and I have apologised to my team-mates for my behaviour. They understand and everything is fine.

Mind you, he hasn’t sad sorry to the manager.
