Fulham to play more attacking football?

Fulham are 4 points behind safety in the English Premier League and have been playing negative, boring football all season. But manager Roy Hodgson says that now that mentality has to change. He is urging his players to take more chances in the game and go out and take the game to the opponents.

The former Inter Milan coach says:

All I can say is that in the games I’ve seen us play, we’re not getting the points.

I’m not seeing us outplayed, I’m seeing the boys work very hard and create chances.

If I were to take any positives it would have to be that but, of course, if you ask whether I would swap that for bad performances and wins, of course I would.

Indeed with the strikeforce that Fulham possess, the Cottagers must go and attack more. But relegation battling teams don’t tend to do that often. Maybe Hodgson is trying to change that. But he might as well fail in his endeavor.
