You, like me, must have always fostered a great impression of the Liverpool veteran Jamie Carragher. A one-club, one-woman man, Carra cannot ever do anything wrong, can he?
Well, he can and he has. It is reported that Carragher was arrested and cautioned by Merseyside police after a complaint was lodged against him for common assault.
Common assault is sort of a petty crime that can range from spitting to shoving and at the moment it is not clear what exactly Carragher did. What is clear that he was arguing with another person.
A statement by the Merseyside police reads as:
We can confirm that a 30-year-old man from the Blundellsands area received a police caution for common assault in relation to an incident on Liverpool Road, Crosby, on Tuesday February 26.
Seems like Carra is a normal human being like you and me who commits mistakes and fights in public!
