Manchester United look towards sunny Spain
by sub on March 3rd, 2008 186 words | 5 commentsManchester United are already looking ahead to next season in terms of adding personnel to their already impressive line-up of young and experienced stars. It is reported that manager Sir Alex Ferguson sent his scout to Spain this weekend to check on a list of players that he is interested in shipping in from La Liga in the summer.
Espanyol Barcelona custodian Carlos Kameni is rumoured to be at the top of his wish-list although the Spanish club have consistently denied that the Nigerian star is up for sale in the summer. Man United may as well have to tussle with fellow Premiership rivals Tottenham Hotspur for Kameni since Spurs manager Jaunde Ramos has declared his wish to land the player at White Hart Lane in the player.
Sir Alex is also said to keen on scooping on a few Valencia players, most notably striker David Villa and midfielder David Silva. Valencia are still struggling in the league and a few of their top players may decide to leave in the summer. And Man United are eager to embrace them with arms wide open.

Can’t understand why we are linked with Kameni as we have VDS for another year and Foster returning.
Would be nice if we are looking at Villa for next season, only worry with him is that he is rather short. Not sure why we would be looking at Silva, think our midfield options are plentiful.

Why any player would want to move to Manchester is beyond me – bunch of bastards in a shit, rainy city… still, worst of luck to the stupid wankheads that are tempted

this makes me laugh so much.
Why on earth would sir alex try and buy a keeper when he already has 4 good options for next season.
David Villa is not coming to england
neither is David Silva because;
1. No one is willing to pay what they are worth, and they are quite a lot mind you.
2. They already have a good place in the national team, and consolidate it by playing in spain.
3. United dont need them, and they wouldnt get playing time.
