Manchester United are already looking ahead to next season in terms of adding personnel to their already impressive line-up of young and experienced stars. It is reported that manager Sir Alex Ferguson sent his scout to Spain this weekend to check on a list of players that he is interested in shipping in from La Liga in the summer.
Espanyol Barcelona custodian Carlos Kameni is rumoured to be at the top of his wish-list although the Spanish club have consistently denied that the Nigerian star is up for sale in the summer. Man United may as well have to tussle with fellow Premiership rivals Tottenham Hotspur for Kameni since Spurs manager Jaunde Ramos has declared his wish to land the player at White Hart Lane in the player.
Sir Alex is also said to keen on scooping on a few Valencia players, most notably striker David Villa and midfielder David Silva. Valencia are still struggling in the league and a few of their top players may decide to leave in the summer. And Man United are eager to embrace them with arms wide open.
