Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney says that he doesn’t want to play in any domestic league other than the English Premier League and declares that the Premiership is the best in the world.
The 23-year old England international striker says:
Our game has improved so much in the past few seasons.
We’ve proved we have the best league in the world, which is why we attract the best players in the world.
It’s down to English players if they decide to play abroad but, for me, English football is the best.
I love playing here and I’m pretty sure that’ll never change.
So we can read that as Rooney saying that he will play for the Red Devils for good. That is all right but it is really hard to agree with him on his stance that the Premiership is the best domestic football league in the world. Regular followers of La Liga and the Argentine championships would beg to disagree with Rooney.
