The obnoxious loudmouth that goes by the name of Jose Mourinho has decided to do a daily ‘mouth shoot-off’ at the moment. He must be bored of gardening and going to see the WCW with his children. The latest quote from the former Chelsea manager concerns Arsenal and, more specifically, their manager Arsene Wenger. Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, big gob JM has belittled Wenger’s achievements, claiming he’s nothing more than a ‘jewel polisher’.
“Arsenal is a unique team,” Mourinho told Gazzetta Della Sport. “Their coach hasn’t won anything for years and is still an idol. There is no pressure at Arsenal. But do not say he is growing young players into talents. What he does is take young players who are jewels and polishes them. It’s different. He has time to work in a serene atmosphere and get results.”
How about this season, where the Frenchman has hardly spent anything, yet turned his team into potential winners of the Premier League and Champions League? Even if they don’t win anything this season, it will be difficult to forget some of the sublime performances from the Gunners – in stark contrast to the borefests that were Chelsea matches under the biggest tool in world football.
